Life is Choices
Decision Making
By Lee Foulis

Decisions and choices shape your life and thus your success, or lack thereof. As does indecision. From a very young age we make decisions. At first, we have parents, teachers and other responsible adults guiding and correcting, where necessary, our decisions. Then the day arrives when you make your decisions without a safety net and have to accept accountability for their outcomes. This is not always easy, as you may not have been taught or given the formula for how to make good decisions. Thus far, your decisions may have been no more than educated guesses.
So, how do you make good decisions every time? It is certainly a skill which makes your life a lot easier and your career prospects not mere wishful thinking, but achievable.
I coach the grid model in conjunction with process analysis. This combination takes the guesswork out of the decision-making process and makes outcomes predictable. In addition, it gets you out of the indecision mode which stifles growth. You become a reliable decision maker in both your personal and professional life. You become proactive and live with a good degree of certainty about the outcomes of the decisions you make daily.
Whether you are considering a career change, a new vehicle, a holiday destination or your child’s latest request, this formula takes the guesswork out of the process.
Sharing it with your children equips them not only to understand your decision, but also teaches them to make good decisions. Definitely a life skill worth acquiring!
Life is Choices. Choose with intention. Live with purpose.
